Admission shall be open to the candidates who have passed in 10+2 as a qualifying examination with not less than 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/years of degree examination.

Course Details
This department was established in 1948 with an intention to provide better education in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. This 3-year graduation course offered at Mount Carmel College is structured to 6 semesters with credit courses including research department. The department has well-established infrastructure with labs in physics, chemistry, and allied sciences. Every year, in June, the college organizes e-newsletter “Tarang” elevating all the department achievements and highlighting on research outputs. Staff and support staff are experienced and very much helpful to the students.
