    Course Details

    • M Tech in Thermal Engineering involves thermal engineering problems like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer. Thermo fluids knowledge is beenfrequently used in thermal power engineering. Thermal Engineering has wide applications in designing the boiler, thermal power plants, combustion engine design, solar heating, commercial cooling systems, cooling of computer chips etc.. The final year project work empowers the students to gain in-depth knowledge. The objective of this industry-relevant program is to train the manpower required to meet the industry needs.ThermalEngineering department has well equipped laboratories such as Experimental Stress Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, IC Engines, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Heat Transfer and Solar Energy.
