Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process
Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) is a common admission process for engineering conducted by Board of Technical Education Rajasthan. The process is conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes leading to Bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech. / B.E.). The admission procedure is conducted on behalf of Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities).
Earlier admissions to engineering programmes offered by engineering colleges in the state of Rajasthan were on the basis of scores attained in the written exam known as Rajasthan Pre Egineering test (RPET). Since this year RPET has been abandoned and admissions to colleges in Rajasthan are on the basis of REAP which follows an online application form process for admissions to various undergraduate engineering programmes offered by the engineering colleges in the state.
Eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri Migrants can apply for this process for the admissions.
Admissions to engineering colleges in Rajasthan were previously through RPET entrance exam. From this year admissions to engineering colleges in the state of Rajasthan shall be through a common online procedure called REAP as RPET has been abandoned.
