Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a national-level management entrance examination. The test is conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU). SNAP test scores are used for admission for 13 institutes under SIU. The scores are also used for admission to various other MBA or equivalent courses. SNAP exam is of two-hour duration and held in 30 cities across India
SNAP exam duration will be 120 minutes (two-hours). SNAP is a multiple-choice objective exam, with four options for each question. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.

SNAP test centres are yet to be declared..
SNAP examination will be conducted in 30 cities. “Symbiosis Test Secretariat reserves the right to change or allot a city other than the one requested by the candidate in the event of the requested city not being available for any reason” informs the official website. Test centre, address and other requisite information will be printed on the admit card.

SNAP syllabus is not much different from other national-level MBA entrance tests. SNAP exam tests the aptitude of a candidate for management programmes.
The test comprises of four sections— General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability / Quantitative Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency / General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario / Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

Eligibility for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test
Here’s the SNAP exam eligibility criteria:
Graduates in any discipline with at least 50% marks from recognised university or institute (45% for SC/ST candidates) for all the Master of Business Administration programmes.
Final year students are also eligible for SNAP
There’s no age limit for SNAP
Specific subject specialisations may require a previous degree in the same field. Please visit the respective institutes’ websites for complete details.
The final merit list for admission to the various MBA programs offered by SIU commencing in will be based on Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). SNAP test score out of 180 will scaled down to 50.

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test Application
Candidates need to register for SNAP and institutes offering his/ her choice of MBA program separately. To register for the programme, candidates need to visit the individual institute’s website and pay the application fees for SNAP. Aspirants can apply on the official website of SNAP. No offline applications are available this year.It is compulsory for applicants to upload their latest coloured photograph to establish their identity.

Candidates have to attach a latest passport size colour photograph on the Admit Card, attested by Gazetted Officer. Test takers need to carry admit cards along with photo identity proof at the exam centre during the time of the test. SNAP exam admit cards will further be used for verification during GE, PI and WAT processes, if shortlisted. Duplicate Admit Card will not be issued. So keep it safe.
