Eligibility Criteria

Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) from any recognised Board in India. Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent. It is compulsory to have studied any two subjects (Biotechnology, Chemistry and Zoology ) at Class XII level. Candidates writing the +2 examinations may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Admission Guidelines

Admission procedure includes Skill Assessment: The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning and Personal interview: Assessment of past performance in class 10 and class 11/12 during personal interview. Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the “Application Status” link on the University website. The Selection results will be declared as mentioned in the important dates

Course Details

The Chemistry courses for the BCZ programme aims to develop scientific temper, observational skills and analytical ability in students. The programme leads the students to higher learning in biological, chemical and applied sciences and contribute to the welfare of the society. It is designed to help the students to understand the importance and judicious use of technology for the sustainable growth of mankind in synergy with nature. It enables them to appreciate the role of chemicals, chemical industries and their significance in improving the quality of human life. It is intended to make the students equipped for employment in the relevant industries and develop the culture of research in students .It also aims to create environmental awareness and sensitivity among students. This course enables the Students to take up advanced studies in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Zoology and can find opportunities in careers in Science and Technology and Management where a high level of competence and dependence on many of the science subjects is demanded.
