Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the Postgraduate level examination with an aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent grade in commerce from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 55% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far. Students writing their final degree examinations are also eligible to apply.

Course Details
The MPhil (Commerce) programme is a one year programme designed and well- founded for smooth transition into advanced research including doctoral level (PhD). The programme equips the researcher to aspire for higher disciplinary and methodological competencies in research. The programme is rigorous and includes three courses and a dissertation. One primary intensive course in the general and specific research methodologies (including functional specialization tools and techniques), and among the two electives, one shall be from the functional specializations (Marketing, Finance & investment, Strategic Management and Human recourses). Elective II, shall be designed by the research supervisor exclusive to the Field of research. The pedagogy includes class room teaching, paper presentations, research colloquia, SPSS and other tools training, case studies, article critique etc. The programme provides the requisite knowledge ,skills and abilities for planning, designing, engaging and interpreting research data for problem solving and consultancy for researchers, academicians, practitioners and corporate.
