B.E. in ME/IP/AE/Manufacturing Engg./ Industrial Engg & Manufacturing, or equivalent degree / AMIE in appropriate branch with an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST & other backward classes of Karnataka students only)

Course Details

It is a full time 2 years post Graduate degree Design Engineering deals with finite element analysis of stress strain distribution as well as dynamical and vibrational modeling. It is equipped with ANSYS, CAD and Mat lab software. During the course students learn about Product Design & Development, Product Life Cycle Management, Advanced Materials Technology, Finite Element Methods, Industrial Design & Ergonomics, Product Data Management, Lean Manufacturing Systems, Design for Manufacture, Robust Design. During the course students attend lots of seminars, industrial visit, conferences, workshops, training Students need to submit project report in the last semester. After the course they can continue further study in their chosen specialization field and obtain PhD
