pass in BE in EEE/ ECE/ Electronics in Instrumentation Engg/ Instrumentation Technology / Electronics & Telecommunication / Bio-Medical Engg/ Medical Electronics or equivalent degree, AMIE in appropriate branch with an aggregate 50% (45% for SC/ST & other backward classes of Karnataka students only)

Course Details

It is a full time 2 years post Graduate degree. Very Large Scale Integrated Circuit design involves designing integrated circuit chip using CAD tools. The program focus on both VLSI and Embedded system, where students learn about hardware languages, IC design, VLSI chip design, Simulation and synthesis using FPGAs, Logic circuit design as a part of VLSI program and about Microcontroller, Real time Embedded system etc as a part of Embedded system program. During the course students attend lots of seminars, industrial visit, conferences, workshops, training. Students need to submit project report in the last semester. After the course they can continue further study in their chosen specialization field and obtain Ph.D
