Course Details

The Civil Engineering department was started in the year 1963 since the inception of the institute. Department has grown into a full-fledged civil department by providing specializations in all the areas of Civil. The programs offered by this department are B. E. in Civil Engineering, M.Sc. Engineering, M.Tech, and Ph.D. The focus of the department is widened to Post Graduate and research studies with the introduction of Post Graduate programs and recognition of the Department as the research centre by VTU. The academics have been continuously updated to meet the industrial needs. Most of the graduate students are placed in many reputed industries and some pursue higher studies. Alumni of the department are placed in industry, academic institutions and government organizations in other states and abroad and many of them have in prestigious positions.
