Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam.

Course Details

This is one of the youngest institutes in our state to start MCA Program. The department takes 60 students of input. The Highly qualified teaching staffs are present in the department. The department consists of three different labs to teach the programs of the new syllabus. For the modernization of labs, the AICTE funded Rs.25 lakhs. In the last five years, the department faculty members and students have published a number of technical papers in national and international conferences and journals. To give a platform for exchanging and spreading the knowledge about latest developments in the field of Computer science and applications, the department regularly conducts Technical talks from industrial persons and workshops. Syllabus for the MCA program is designed to reach the requirements of the industry. The syllabus includes the knowledge about computer application and core computer science and in addition, the mathematics concepts necessary for building the domains of the software systems and solves them, and also includes management principles. The main concepts of computer science are included in the core courses and designing of modern technologies and tools are delivered in the elective courses. The lab sessions are included as part of the most of the courses in the curriculum and a required number of theory subjects are also included. Most of the MCA students are placed in some noted companies like Mindtree, Emphasis, Tech Mahindra, HP, TCS, Headstrong, etc
