Course Details

The Information Science and Engineering department was started in the year 2005 with an aim to give good education to the students of India and other countries and also include students from rural regions so that they can improve the standards of living of their family and become civilized individuals of Industry and Society.

The highly accomplished faculty members are working in the department, including Ph.D. scholars from different institutes in India. The department has good placement facilities, the students are placed in many noted IT companies. The department faculties published more than 40 research papers in the national/International journals and various Conference proceedings.It is a matter of pride for the IS&E department that the student REENA S secured 8th Rank for the university in 2009.

The department has well-equipped and diversified labs which include a lab for project work, installed with earlier versions of software to fulfil the need of the students and also to teach the subjects specified by the university. The labs include file structures lab, Microprocessor lab, Data structures lab, Electronic circuits and Logic design Lab, Algorithms lab, Database lab, Software Testing lab, System software and Operating systems lab, Networking lab and Web programming lab.

The students are counselled and motivated by the faculty members to give their best academic performance and tests are conducted once in a month. Feedback about academics and faculties are obtained regularly from the students. Staff members are examined by the studentsand Head of the Department.
