Course Details

The department of E&C started M.Tech in 2008 with 18 students of input. The students from this institute are placed in many named institutes. This course makes the student to build their future in the teaching field and also in the technical field.

The syllabus of the M.Tech program in the VLSI will cover the design and development of IC based systems. It is asuccessful outcome of two different streams: electrical engineering and material science. The development program in the VLSI technology requires novel design as well as physical design research and development of electrical circuit. The aim of the program is to develop the students with the skills of designing circuits and semiconductor devices, system development using installed components such as memory, CPU, and peripherals.

As per the rules and regulations, a student must complete 12 core subjects and 8 courses to get masters in this stream. Total 48 subjects must be passed to hold a Master degree with VLSI.
