Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must haveMasters in a relevant subject or any other equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA marks in any of the Universities recognized by the state or central legislature in India. For SC/ST candidates there is a relaxation of 5% in required aggregate marks.

Course Details

The department of Mechanical Engineering is recognized as the research centre by the VTU for carrying out the research. So far 13 students pursued their Ph.D. degree and 18 members get their M.Sc. (Engineering.) degree by this research centre. Currently, 26 Scholars are working on the research to pursue Ph.D. and 07 for M.Sc. (Engineering.) in the department. Many organizations like VGST, AICTE, UGC, TEQIP, VTU, DST, etc. are funded the research work. Many of the faculty members have attended seminars and present research papers in National/International conferences held abroad.
