Candidate must have passed PUC examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is must with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Technical Vocational subjects from any recognized board. Automobile engineering includes various elements like mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering which are combined and applied to design, manufacture, and knowing the operation of motorcycles, automobiles and trucks and their respective systems. It also deals with modifying the vehicles. It is research intensive and application ofmathematical models and formulae.
