Eligibility Criteria

For admission to MD course at Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College Bangalore, affiliated to RGUHS Bangalore, candidates must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates seeking admission at one of the top 10 private medical colleges in Karnataka, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College Bangalore, must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Admission Guidelines

Candidates seeking PG Medical/Diploma admission Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College must qualify in NEET PG. NEET Qualified candidates must participate in PG medical admission counselling conducted by COMEDK in the order of merit to secure a PG medical /diploma seat.Based on the availability, allotment of seats for candidates takes place. Admissions are made through counseling based on rank obtained in NEET –PG.

Course Details

M D in Anatomy course deals with the study of structure of the human body. Students learn to dissect and clearly display the anatomical structures. They acquire the skill of routine histology and the common histochemical techniques. They learn to make to make paraffin and plastic resin blocks of tissues, handling of microtome and routine histological as well as common specialized staining methods.Students study about Gross and Regional Anatomy, Radiological Anatomy, Systemic Anatomy Surface Anatomy, Clinical Anatomy, Comparative Anatomy , Surface marking of Human Body
