Eligibility Criteria

For admission to MD course at Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College Bangalore, affiliated to RGUHS Bangalore, candidates must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates seeking admission at one of the top 10 private medical colleges in Karnataka, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College Bangalore, must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Admission Guidelines

Candidates seeking PG Medical/Diploma admission Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College must qualify in NEET PG. NEET Qualified candidates must participate in PG medical admission counselling conducted by COMEDK in the order of merit to secure a PG medical /diploma seat.Based on the availability, allotment of seats for candidates takes place. Admissions are made through counseling based on rank obtained in NEET –PG.

Course Details

This program prepares medical faculty in speciality associated with discipline of obstetrics and gynaecology. The aforesaid program coupled with clinical training enables the practicing graduand to be dexterous at the surgical management of the entire scope of clinical pathology pertaining to female reproductive organs and provide care for both non-pregnant and pregnant patients. The program incorporates scope for research study of clinical and surgical training in gynaecology.
