Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should be a graduate in Medicine (M.B.B.S) from any university recognised by the Medical Council of India.The candidate should have completed satisfactorily the Rotating compulsory internship of one year in an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India. The candidate should have obtained permanent Registration of any State Medical Council. The candidate should have the eligibility certificate issued by the University

Admission Guidelines

Candidates seeking admission to MD courses must qualify in NEET PG.. Admissions are made through counseling based on rank obtained in NEET –PG.

Course Details

The course explores the major psychiatric syndromes like psychotic, mood and anxiety disorders, psychological effects of physical diseases, the doctor-patient relationship, human development, patient interviewing, and ethical issues in medicine. Psychiatrists practice general psychiatry.
