Candidates must have 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (Electronics & Communication / Information Science / Telecommunication / Computer Science.) Or Equivalent Degree Or AMIE in any of the specified Branch. GATE: EC, CS, IT

Course Details

In the year 2013, the Computer Science and Engineering department started the M.Tech program with 18 students of input. The course provides knowledge about advanced subjects of computer science which will be more helpful for them who want to enter teaching field and also the industries. The department has an association with IT industries like Infosys, IBM with which department provides continuous exposure to the students to corporate standards. The department network provides access to e-Journal. The department has a full-fledged departmental library, NPTEL digital library access and Wi-Fi facility in the campus. Industrial exposure, attending and organizing conferences, Placement training, academics, and campus recruitment is the special features of this department. The syllabus of this course is designed so that the graduates will know more about the advanced computer science areas. The course is aimed to provide theoretically and hands-on experience in the areas of Advanced Algorithms, Advances in DBMS, Computer Networks, Advances in Operating Systems and a bunch of elective subjects like Advances in Digital Image Processing, Optical Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics & Visualization, Pattern Recognition, Advances in Storage Area Networks, Information Security etc.
