Candidates must have 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (Electronics & Communication / Information Science / Telecommunication / Computer Science.) Or Equivalent Degree Or AMIE in any of the specified Branch. GATE: EC, CS, IT

Course Details

The Post Graduate program in power electronics includes courses in Cultural Education, Mathematics, and some core subject areas.Power Electronics plays an important role in supplying current and voltages that are optimally suited for the user requirement from several watts to megawatts and it also controls the processes and controls the flow of electric energy. The application areas include AC and DC Power Supplies, Transportation, HVDC, FACTS Devices, Heating and Lighting Control, Process Control and Factory Automation, etc. This program consists of project work in which the students are motivated to work on different areas including fabrication, design, simulation and testing etc.
