Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

MD in Anatomy offered at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore has a course curriculum that is structured to give equal importance to theoretical skills and practical knowledge. Theoretically, the graduates will be trained on gross and clinical anatomy, developmental anatomy and genetics, microanatomy and recent advancements, and neuro-anatomy with planned online lectures. During the practical sessions, graduates are required to dissect and clearly display the anatomical structures. The student aspirants will have to acquire the skills of making paraffin and also plastic resin blocks of tissues along with microtome handling and special tissue staining and other histological staining techniques.
