Course Details
MD in forensic medicine is a 3-year postgraduate program offered at Kasturba Medical College. In this course, the graduates will learn in-depth physiological concepts of anthropology, biology, bloodstain pattern analysis, botany, dentistry, DNA phenotyping, DNA profiling, entomology, epidemiology, advanced medicine, palyonology, pathology, podiatry, and toxicology to establish and support in criminal investigations. After completion of this postgraduate program, graduates will be able to provide basic and specialized services in relation with medico-legal responsibilities in the practice of medicine and process of crime investigation.
