Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

MD in pulmonary medicine is a 3-year postgraduate program offered at Kasturba Medical College by giving equal importance to both practical as well as theoretical curriculum. After completion of this course, the career opportunities will be as pulmonologists, respiratory physicians, respiratory physiotherapists, and related pulmonary medicine. After completion of this course, the graduates will get the full understanding on significant pulmonary diseases of asthma, occupational lung disease, lung cancer, and also related acute on chronic diseases of lungs like tuberculosis.
