Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Admission Guidelines

Candidates must qualify in PG medical entrance exam. Qualified candidates shall be called for MD/MS admission counselling in the order of merit. Based on the availability of medical seats, candidates will be allotted a MD/MS seat.

Course Details

MS in ophthalmology is a 3-year postgraduate program offered at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. This course is structured with the aims of creating potential ophthalmologists who can acquire competency related to ophthalmology, which is required to be practiced in the community and at all levels of healthcare systems for benefit of the patients.
