Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Admission Guidelines

Candidates must qualify in PG medical entrance exam. Qualified candidates shall be called for MD/MS admission counselling in the order of merit. Based on the availability of medical seats, candidates will be allotted a MD/MS seat.

Course Details

MS in orthopaedics is a 3-year postgraduate program offered at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore which has been recognized by Medical Council of India. With the sedentary lifestyles, the modern generations are developing advanced orthopaedic disorders, KMC is intended to produce surgical graduates with intensive knowledge on orthopaedic/bone related disorders and disease along with treatment modalities like bone biopsy, closed reduction and internal fixation of the bone disorders, and many advanced surgical knowledge with in-depth practical exposure.
