Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.For MSc courses in Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, and Microbiology, are done on the basis of the rank obtained in MU-OET (All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test). For MSc Genetics counselling, admissions are done on the basis of rank obtained in MU-OET and also Aptitude Test

Course Details

MSc in Pharmacology is a 2-year postgraduate program offered at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. During this course, students will have to prepare a dissertation work on a selected topic under the guidance of a recognized postgraduate faculty member. In this postgraduate program, students will be given thorough theoretical knowledge on general principles of pharmacology and systemic pharmacology along with hands-on practical exposure on chemical tests of different molecules, bioassays, and screening methods.
