Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.
Course Details
Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore offers 2-year postgraduate diploma in clinical pathology with recent advancements in this clinical stream. There will be on-the-job training provided to the graduates to participate in active bench work. During the course, there will be 3 papers. Students will get in-depth knowledge on clinical pathology including clinical microbiology, hematology and immunology as advanced training. The standard for passing in the final year examinations is similar to that of MD examination. The department library and central college library provides all the required books with good volumes. The department has national and international journals to boost the supplement knowledge to the students.
