Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

PG diploma in ophthalmology provided in Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore is a 2-year postgraduate diploma course which is oriented to laboratory practices. The students will get full-orientation benefits in teaching ability, research ability, and team work with an objective of imparting the best cognitive skills in the graduates. The main courses that students will learn during the first year are: Outpatient and casualty, in-patient and operative theatres, other department postings. During the second year, the students will be posted to ENT department, plastic surgery, diabetology, endocrinology and other major departments.
