Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

PG diploma in orthopaedics is a 2-year postgraduate diploma offered in Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. In this advanced diploma course, the graduates will have postings to all the departments including ICU and other departments. Basic sciences related to locomotor system, surgical pathology related to bones, cartilage, muscle and other musculoskeletal anatomy, general principles of surgery and traumatology, and also intensive learning on orthopaedic diseases like spina bifida, polio, cerebral palsy are the topics dealt during this course.
