Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

Established in 2011, this department offers B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering with 60 intake students. In addition to the VTU's standard syllabus curriculum, the department's faculty members develop additional information to present in their lectures thus helping in providing extra information needed to fulfil their degree. After obtaining this graduation degree, the students will get confidence in using modern engineering tools like CAD, GIS, etc for practicing civil engineering. Department regularly invites guest lecturers and also inviting subject experts to share their knowledge. Seminars, technical fests, nation and international conference, annual alumni meets are some of the highlights of the department.
