Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

MD in Microbiology in Khaja Banda Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences is a 3-year postgraduate program developed with the main goal of providing quality medical education in theoretical as well as hands-on practical training on specialities like bacteriology, virology, parasitology, immunology and mycology to make the graduates to participate and provide good medical care to the patients. Students will learn mainly on sterilization and disinfection techniques, host-parasite interaction, bacterial toxins, immunological concepts, systematic bacteriology, virology and important essentials of microbiology. Graduates will also be imparted the best hands-on practical knowledge in different staining techniques, microbial culturing techniques, preparation of antibiotic discs, etc.
