Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group (40% in the case of SC/ST candidates). The candidate must have passed in English as a compulsory subject. The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before on or before 31st December of the year MBBS admission.
Admission Guidelines
Candidates seeking MBBS admission must qualify in NEET UG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). Qualified candidates shall be called for MBBS admission counselling in the order of merit. Based on the availability of seats, candidates will be allotted MBBS seat.
Course Details
KVG Medical College offers bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) with 100 intake seats. This course starts with basic preclinical along with paraclinical subjects like physiology, biochemistry, anatomy, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology. Eventually, all the students will obtain training in the wards and also outpatient services, they will be given chance to directly interact with patients for around 5 years. The course structure aims at standard protocols of taking family and past medical history, physical examination, differential diagnoses and complete patient management.
