Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Admission Guidelines

Candidates must qualify in PG medical entrance exam. Qualified candidates shall be called for MD/MS admission counselling in the order of merit. Based on the availability of medical seats, candidates will be allotted a MD/MS seat.

Course Details

KVG Medical College offers Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery with a total of 4 seats. This 3-year MS degree in General Surgery is recognized by Medical Council of India. Aspirants will be giving thorough training on surgical aspects of abdominal contents like esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts. Disciplines that we deal in this postgraduate degree are: Trauma surgery, laparoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery, breast surgery, vascular surgery, transplant surgery and many other critical illness surgeries.
