Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Candidates must qualify in PG medical entrance exam. Qualified candidates shall be called for MD/MS admission counselling in the order of merit. Based on the availability of medical seats, candidates will be allotted a MD/MS seat.
Course Details
KVG Medical College offers Master of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology with 1 intake seat. This 3-year MS degree in Ophthalmology is recognized by Medical Council of India. At the end of this course, student should develop cognitive knowledge including basic sciences the student should be an expert in clinical decision making and management .The student should be well versed in cornea and contact lens clinics, cataract surgeries, glaucoma, strabismus, orbit and oculoplasty, retina, uvea diseases diagnosis and management and be able to handle children in pediatric ophthalmology and to differentiate between neurology and neuro ophthalmic lesions. They should expertise in various types of keratoplasty including an eye bank.
