Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

Lingaraj Appa Engineering College offers B.E./B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 60 intake students. This course is affiliated to VTU and approved by AICTE. This department provides laboratories like: Electrical machines lab, relay and high voltage lab, control systems and logic design lab, power systems and simulation, circuit measurement and power electronics lab, analogue electronics and microcontroller lab, and CAED labs with surveillance cameras. The department's faculty provides job-oriented detailed instructions and also the institute's well-established labs help the graduates to completely understand the syllabus. Also, there is a special focus given to the slow learners. Required knowledge will be imparted to the students in the electrical systems ranging from heavy power generators to the smallest of micro-chips in this course structure.
