Course Details

The Electrical & Electronics Engineering, earlier known as Electrical Power Engineering, it is one of the three elder Engineering branches started at Malnad College of Engineering in the academic year 1960. At present, there are 5 Ph.D. holders specialized in several fields of EEE and 4 members are at the stage of pursuing the Ph.D. program are working as the faculty members of this department. The faculty members of this department published more than 200 research papers in various national/international conferences and journals. Along with the B.E. Degree program in EEE the department also offers a Master degree Program in Computer Applications in Industrial Drives, the department is recognized as a research bey VTU, Belgaum and there are 10 research students are working to get their research degree in this research centre. The department has highly qualified and well-experienced faculty members to impart knowledge to the students. The department receives Rs1.80 Crores of an amount from different Government funding agencies. The department has excellent lab facilities and well-equipped computer centres which are useful for the faculty members, students, research scholars as well as for consultancy work.
