Admission shall be open to the candidates who have passed in 10+2 as a qualifying examination with not less than 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/years of degree examination.

This 3-year graduation programme offered at Mount Carmel College is a 6 semester programme. This department was established in 2002 with primary goals of orienting the students to research and development in science and technology. The department has well-equipped laboratories to facilitate the students to get hands-on experience on instruments and equipments like UV transilluminator, spectrophotometer, plant and animal tissue culture, and other modern equipment of visualization.
