B.Sc Home Science or Family and Community Sciences/Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/Food Science and Quality Control/ Nutrition and Dietetics/B.Sc with Human Nutrition/Applied Nutrition/Food Science and Nutrition/ Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/ Food Science and Quality Control with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board or institution.

Mount Carmel College offers this 2-year postgraduate programme as a fulltime course. This course was recognized by UGC and the college gets funding for several biotechnology projects from UGC and other funding bodies. The course will create the graduates with in-depth knowledge on plant and animal tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, microbial and virology techniques. The department organizes regular workshops, inter and intra-college science fests to encourage the students get updated on their skills.
