Admissions will be done by counselling based on the rank obtained in COMEDK/JEE Mains /KCET.

Course Details

The Civil Engineering department was started with the establishment of the institute and it is the first department to be set up at this institute. Since from the establishment, the department provides high-quality education to the students. The students of this department bagged many University ranks every year. So, the department had a huge set of well-settled alumni batch to its credit. The department labs are well equipped. The facilities provided for the labs are enhanced through World Bank under TEQIP. All the labs of the department are well equipped. The department conducts various programs for the students and encouraged them to participate. The department conducts a flagship event called AAKAR and it is a biannual activity. The department carries out some research activities in the fields of Fire resistance, Earthquake Engineering and Ferro cement, Masonry, Structural reliability and Fibre reinforced concrete. The significant research activity is taking place in the field of geotechnical engineering and water resources. The department provides its services in the form of consultancy and testing to various private agencies.
