Eligibility Criteria

The candidate shall have passed the Second year Pre-University of XII std or equivalent examinations with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics and shall have secured not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages of the study. 40% marks in case of Karnataka candidates who belong to SC, ST and OBC.

Admissions are done through merit prepared on the basis of rank in KCET followed by counseling and also through management quota

Course Details

Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch started in the year 2013 which is one of the core and evergreen branches of engineering studies. Electrical engineering deals with study and application of electrical systems for use in these different environments. It equips you with the knowledge of generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power, electrical circuit design, electronics, instrumentation, control system, understanding electrical and electronic networks etc.The course also covers the study of electronic devices and circuits involved in measurement, instrumentation, control and protection of electrical equipment and conversion systems.
