Candidate must have passed PUC examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is must with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Technical Vocational subjects from any recognized board. Candidate must have appeared for COMEDK UGET / KCET / any other state-level engineering entrance examination

Information Science & Engineering deals with processing information, use of electronic computers, and computer software to process, store, transmit, secure and retrieve information from anywhere, anytime. The graduates are responsible in designing or development of website or web based solutions or a software which supports various business operations. There are plenty of opportunities in design, development, testing and maintenance of software in IT industry and also as a networking and security administrator in IT or as a research and development engineer.
