Eligibility Criteria

A 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subjects. English as one of the languages. Minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC only from Karnataka state) from a recognized board. Valid rank in KCET/COMED-K/JEE Mains

Course Details

Mechanical engineering is the most diversified of all the engineering fields, involved in design and manufacture of virtually everything from small individual parts and devices like micro-scale sensors and inkjet nozzles to large systems like spacecraft and industrial machine tools. In summary, this stream of engineering deals with everything that moves. Mechanical engineers learn about materials, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, control, instrumentation, design, and manufacturing to understand mechanical systems.
