Eligibility Criteria

A 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subjects. English as one of the languages. Minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC only from Karnataka state) from a recognized board. Valid rank in KCET/COMED-K/JEE Mains.

Course Details

RYMEC offers B.E./B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with an intake of 120 students. This department was established in 1987, currently with 3 professors, 6 associate professors, and 25 assistant professors. In 2006, VTU recognized the department for its research activities and declared as research centre. In collaboration with VTU's e-learning centre, CSE department organizes workshops regularly. Recently, in 2017, the department has organized a 2-day workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights" in collaboration with VTU's e-learning centre. The department has corporate-style laboratories in 9 centres. Our placement department regularly organizes on-campus and off-campus recruitments.
