Eligibility Criteria

A 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subjects. English as one of the languages. Minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC only from Karnataka state) from a recognized board. Valid rank in KCET/COMED-K/JEE Mains.

Course Details

RYMEC offers B.E./B. Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with 40 intake seats. This department was established in 1992. The department is very active in research and has published over 11 papers in International journals. The department has 1 professor, 2 associate professors, and 4 assistant professors. The department has a separate library with 1178 volumes, 24 journals, and 40 project reports. To support the curriculum, department has 3 well-established laboratories. During the year 2010-11, the department has received a grant of 1.6 lakhs from VTU-VGST towards the faculty development program on "Industrial Automation and Control” and also a grant of 2.0 lakhs towards VTU-VGST faculty development programme on “Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Opportunities and Challenges” during 2011-12. The department is actively participating in state-level projects, exhibitions, and competitions held across Karnataka.
