Eligibility Criteria

A 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subjects. English as one of the languages. Minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC only from Karnataka state) from a recognized board. Valid rank in KCET/COMED-K/JEE Mains.

Course Details

RYMEC offers B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 120 intake seats. This department was started functioning from 1980. To give special focus on laboratories, the department is equipped with 8 lab instructors and 16 lab assistants to handle list of labs in: Workshop practice Laboratory, Computer Aided Engineering Drawing, Computer Aided Machine Drawing, Metallograpy and Material Testing Laboratory, Mechanical measurements and Meterology Laboratory, Foundary and Forging Laboratory, Machine shop laboratory, Fluid Mechanics and Machines Laboratory, Energy conversion and engineering Laboratory, Heat and mass transfer laboratory, Computer aided modelling and analysis laboratory, Design Laboratory, and CIM and Automation Laboratory.
