Candidate must have obtained a B.Tech/B.E. degree with at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate in relevant branch from a recognized institute and must have a valid score in GATE/PGCET

The Department of Telecommunication Engineering started PG progem M.Tech. in Digital Communication Engineering in the year 2004. Specialization in the field of Digital Communication Engineering will provide the candidates with a wide variety of opportunities, both in the Industry as well as in the R & D organizations, apart from academic institutions. Their expertise could be utilized in the areas of firmware development and modeling of Satellite Communications, Wireless Communications, Optical Fiber Communications, Microwave and Antenna designs , Real time and Embedded System designs, Advanced Digital Signal processing and Image processing , etc. Public sector establishments like DRDO Labs, ISRO have been continuously providing opportunities for students to work on their ongoing research projects, thus reinforcing the research interests of students.
