Course Details

p>The Electrical & Electronics Engineering department of SDM College, Dharwad was established in 1979 with 30 students of input, which was enhanced to 60. The course isAICTE approved, recognized by VTU as one of the research centresfor M.Sc. in Engineering & Ph.D. degree and in 2007, it has been awarded asan Autonomous course. Right from its establishment, the working motto of the Department is “Professional Competence with Positive Attitude”. The Department has eighteen faculty members with five Ph.D. holders and two faculty members are working hard to pursue Ph.D. at Suratkal and rest of them are Post Graduates.The department faculty members are having minimum 21 years of experience. As the Department is crowned with senior faculty members, some are shouldering administration responsibilities at the college level. This Department has a staff-student ratio of 1:15.Department has enough space for independent labs required for the academics. The academic performance and relationship between student and teacher are very good.
