Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

SIT offers B.E./B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an intake of 60 students. This course was started in 2011 with 1:15 staff to student ratio. Logic Design, Analog Electronics Circuits, Power Electronics, TIM LabView, High Voltage Lab, Control Systems Lab, Measurement and Simulation, Microcontroller, Power System Simulation, D.C. Machines Lab are the main laboratories in SIT. This is a well-established department with 3 classrooms, 6 assistant professors, and 2 supporting staff to form a good student support throughout all walks of the course. This department is recognized as a research centre by Visvesvaraya Technological University.
