Course Details

In the year 1986, the department of Industrial engineering and management was started with 40 students of input by Providing B.E degree program in Industrial Production. In the year 1992, this B.E. program was renamed as Industrial Engineering and Management and the input was enhanced to 60 per batch. The department has 16 faculty members of which 5 are Ph.D. holders and remaining are M.Tech degree holders. Most of the faculty members are involved in research activities and publishing papers in journals and conferences. Till now 63 journal papers and 128 conference papers are published by the faculty members. There are 7 research scholars are pursuing Ph.D. and 2 are pursuing M.Sc. in Engineering in the research centre. The GTRE funded Rs 9.977 lakhs for the department project. The vision of the department is to become a centre of excellence by providing value based education and offering research and consultancy work in the Industrial engineering and management field and fulfil the society needs.
