Candidate must have passed PUC examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is must with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Technical Vocational subjects from any recognized board. Candidate must have appeared for COMEDK UGET / KCET / any other state-level engineering entrance examination

Course Details
Telecommunications engineering is an engineering discipline focused on both electrical and computer engineering which support and enhance telecommunication systems. It also overlaps heavily with broadcast engineering. The work ranges from basic circuit design to strategic mass developments. The responsibility of a telecommunication engineer is to design, install telecommunications equipment and he is also responsible for designing, installing such as complex electronic switching systems, copper wire telephone facilities, optical fiber cabling, IP data systems, and terrestrial radio link systems. Telecommunications engineering is a very diverse field connected to electronic, civil and systems engineering. Telecommunication engineers are responsible for providing high-speed data transmission services and they also provide solutions revolving around wireless modes of communication and information transfer, such as wireless telephony services, radio and satellite communications, and internet and broadband technologies.
