Candidate must have passed 10+2 with English as one subject and must have obtained 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology (40% for candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination) and must have obtained a valid rank in KCET/ COMED K

Course Details
The students study about design, thermal and manufacturing streams. Students will learn CAED / CAM, knowledge of which is essential nowadays for operating conventional CNC (computer-aided numerically-controlled) machines. Mechanical Engineering creates a base for career in the fields of Design, Materials, Manufacturing, CAD/CAM/CAE, Automation, Mechatronics, FEM as well as managerial aspects of industry.
